Mekar 101:
learn about Tester Unit in the fragrance world.
What is Tester Unit?
Physical condition & content are 100% the same but different packaging.
The bottle, content quality, and volume are exactly the same with the one in New in Box, but sold in a simpler box.
Please note that a tester unit may or may not come with a sprayer cap.
The bottle’s push-down atomiser is very much intact to dispense the perfume as per usual.
Some may claim that tester units are more concentrated than the retail units.
MEKAR believes that this is untrue as the content quality of New in Box and Tester Unit is on par with each other.
Who should buy Tester Unit?
Due to the nature of its packaging, Tester Unit is more suitable for personal use.
Collectors may want to keep the New In Box’s box for display, but customers who hate clutter and would usually throw away packagings after a satisfying unboxing therapy may simply opt for the tester unit.
If packaging really is your priority - especially if the perfume is meant as a gift, we implore you to get the New in Box.
Remember, good presentation matters in special occasions - especially if it’s for that special someone.
Complimentary gift-wrapping service is available upon request.
