What is a perfume decant?
Perfume decants sold in MEKAR are original, authentic perfumes transferred into smaller, more convenient bottles.
MEKAR’s process of decanting perfumes from the original packages into smaller spray bottles is done with the utmost care for you.

What are the types of perfumes sold in MEKAR?
Our collection of perfumes ranges from eau de toilette (EDT), eau de parfum (EDP), parfum, elixir, to extrait.
Colognes are also available depending on brand’s availability.
Can I refill my MEKAR’s empty decant bottles with a different perfume?
Customers are encouraged to refill the same perfume as the one originally decanted in the now-empty spray bottle. This is to avoid contamination of scents due to the mixture of different perfume formulas.
Customers are also encouraged to empty their perfume decants as thoroughly as possible (until the last mist) so that we can refill it to its full capacity accordingly.
Prices are fixed for each capacity offered, so please make sure your empty decant bottle is able to meet its maximum amount required for full refills!

Are full-bottle perfumes available in MEKAR?
Full bottles are also available for purchase should your favorite perfume decants run out and you’re ready to commit to a full bottle!
What are the prices of perfume decants in MEKAR?
Prices of each decant according to its capacity vary from one perfume to another. The starting price could be as low as RM19 for selected perfumes.
Are MEKAR’s perfume decants refillable?
Yes! We love it when you walk into our stores (Mekar Bintulu or Mekar Kuching) with empty bottles ready for a refill.

Product Care:
- Do not expose perfume bottles/decants to heat and direct sunlight. This includes not leaving the perfume inside the car/vehicle for an extended period of time.
- Store the perfume decants in a safe area to avoid hard-knocking or falling.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Try your best to keep the decant bottles upright. Keep them safe inside a pouch or case before placing them inside your bag or luggage.
